Do people like to get hurt?
Is it natural to get hurt?
Do people like to get stressed? and is it natural to get Stressed?
Let's explore this concept through the lens of physics.
In physics, stress = pressure divided by resilience.
However, in our everyday lives, we have conveniently ignored the denominator i.e. Reselience and focus solely on the pressure we face. This oversight leads us to believe that stress is = external pressure.
Consider this example: When the weather changes from summer to winter, it's natural to feel unwell due to the chilly temperatures. But we don't just accept this as fate; instead, we take measures to protect ourselves, such as wearing warm clothes. Similarly, in life, external pressures will always exist, but it's how we respond to them that truly matters.
Spirituality teaches us that while we may not always have control over external pressures (the numerator), we have the power to strengthen our resilience (the denominator). It's our ability to cope with challenges that ultimately defines our experience of stress. the higher the denominator, the lower will be stress.
So, the next time you find yourself feeling overwhelmed, remember that stress is not just about the pressure you face—it's also about how resilient you are in the face of adversity. By nurturing your inner strength and learning to handle pressure effectively, you can navigate life's challenges with greater ease and resilience.
Let's embrace the power of resilience and redefine our relationship with stress.Tell me in comments, your feedback about this post, do you think I should write more about mindfulness.
