No matter how brilliant your mind or strategy is, if you're playing a solo game, you'll always lose out to a team.

~Reid Hoffman

No matter your line of work, staying successful means working well with other people, whether these are clients, customers, employees, management, investors, partners or outside vendors. To move from solo-hustler to a team builder or a Manager, answer a question - Why should someone work with you.

Think about -

1. What benefits are you currently offering to others.

2. In what way people improve by associating with you?

3. How many lives have you changed positively in the past year.

You'll know you're succeeding in your life when others are winning simply because of their association with you. It could be based on the example you set, your contacts, your coaching, your knowledge or the tough you.

In short - instead of being selfish and looking to see what you could take from other people, learn to focus on what you can give them.

The day I made this paradigm shift, I improved my own worth in the process, this changed my life for the better. I stopped asking how other people could make my life better, and instead, I asked - How can I make everybody else's life better.
