"A goal without a plan is just a wish"


I know what you are thinking - "Tell us something that is fresh and challenging. Why are you writing about goals? We know this."


Few success practices are as important as articulating your goals and reviewing them daily. Getting mindful at setting and then patiently working towards them on a consistent basis. In my mind there are few key reasons to set goals - Focus, Growth, Intentionality, Measurement, Alignment and Inspiration.


☑️ Focus: Where your focus goes energy flows.


☑️ Growth: Goal setting promotes personal growth. 


☑️ Intentionality: It's easy to live life with no goals and sleepwalk through your days. If you don't act on life, life has a way of acting on you. By setting goals and then reviewing them on daily basis will help you exert your influence on life and live in a proactive rather than reactive manner. Also this will provide you with a framework or decision matrix that will drive better choices.


☑️ Measurement: What gets measured gets improved.


☑️ Alignment: Setting clear goals that are aligned with your values is the path to success.


☑️ Inspiration: Goals breathe life into your days. Setting your goals is a statement that you refuse to be ordinary. Setting your goals is a bold play for rest of your life because you are reaching for the potential that has been invested in you.
