Friday Fitness Tips for getting and staying motivated for workouts.



  • Set your own goals - Don't accept any random plan. Create one that's tailored to your needs and fitness level. Set the right kind of goals. 

  • Go Outside - Ditch the treadmill, unless you really like it. If trudging to the gym feels like a boring obligation, find a form of fitness you enjoy.

  • Keep mastery in mind - Getting better at something provides a great source of renewable energy. So pick an activity which you can improve over the time. 

  • Stay Consistent. Pick the same time of the day, every day, no matter what.

  • Reward yourself the right way - There is no harm in treating yourself, however never trade or bribe yourself with "if-then" rewards. They can backfire, but the occasional "now that" reward is good.


Most important -


Even when the struggle is real, remind yourself that it almost always feels better to be exhausted from taking tiny steps forward, than it does to be tired of doing absolutely nothing.
