Today morning, while listening to a podcast from Vishen Lakhiani, heard the word “Blissipline”, which I absolutely loved!
Blissipline –meaning - “Happiness in whatever you do”
I strongly believe in this idea that you do better when you are happy , so sharing my thoughts with you all. There is a lot of research as well done around - how happiness fuels productivity. Sales people sell 55% better when they are happy, doctors are 19% better in diagnosing when they are happy and so on.
Blissipline combines “bliss” and “discipline”.
Blissipline is a discipline that your bliss is the most important thing. The entire concept of Blissipline is in experiencing bliss in your current state, whatever situation you are in, whatever your further goals, and your future aspirations. Blissipline happens when you dedicate yourself to achieving a goal and enjoy the process.
What happens if we delay our happiness?
Burnout… that’s right. When we work crazy hours to achieve the goals, eventually, we may start to lose momentum, energy and passion. Start enjoying the process while working on your goals and life will appear more joyful.
Without being happy at the moment, we’ll feel burnout very quickly.
Enjoying the process doesn’t steal our drive and motivation for hitting our goals. It helps us accelerate it.
